Discarded torn corner of salt packet
Word alt still visible in faded red letters
Last bit of freedom, feeling the wind
Heading toward the mountains
In eagle’s sharp beak
Will soon be intertwined in twigs
Softening eaglet’s nest
Enjoying wind while she can
