-Discarded

In the dead of night she lays

Still , alone

Once so full of life

Now lifeless so far from home

No-one knows she lays there

Discarded like refuse

Is this to be her final resting place

Left naked and abused

Engaging poetry, Deb. Your imagery is haunting and true. You allow the reader to explore the many situations that could end as you describe in this poem. A poem to think on more than once. A FAV for me because of the tragedy it implies. Thanks for sharing, my dear friend. Hugs, Bill
