Disavow

Lightening comes but once in a lifetime Like love I cannot outrun what’s rightfully mine Fighting these emotions of mine Breeds discontent Wandering the continent In search of solace Climbing the lattice In hopes of escaping The rampant nagging Now agape Falling head first into raging storm Trying to adjust To this feeling forlorn Spinning circles into the floor Keeping myself pure Behind closed doors Questioning the fervent yearning To be made whole Questioning the constant churning Of want and desire of a married man Burning with disavow I know not why, I know not how But I will have what my heart desires Even if the cost is paid with fire.
