Disassociate
I beg you to speak to me
Speak of yourself, your silly ambitions
Your dreams may they haunt you as mine do me
Speak for anything, at anything at all
Speak of me, of them
Just don’t speak of him
If you will speak gently
Speak to the form that resembles a thought
Single and solitary, decadent and callous
Speaking with your mouth renders pain unto my ears
As I can only hear your words, feel your words
Soft echoes thunder lose the shingles of my sanity
I cower beneath you and search for silence
That word mixed with the others seems to kill the life, hurt the pain
That used to be something more than what it lacks to be right now
Down the hall, through the door, out of the window, your loving hatred
Spiteful kindness shakes through the minds of those you’ve randomly chosen to hear our play
The heaven’s confirm your righteousness, but shut off your spotlight
How dare you stand out to speak, speaking never matched the value of your words
Still you speak of them, of him, of her, of the one making it anything but
Still you speak, still you speak, still you gracefully ramble on
Stumble over me, the empty seat in your mind
The movie without an audience
Such things I say to give partner to your existence
How alone you would be if
No one to hear, no one to see, no one to feel
As reality clicks away the figments standing about in your hallway of what only is
Coinciding with the clocks lifespan fading away time to decide
Whether I am still standing at the other end
Waiting for you to speak
