(That Such Brilliant Gems May A Lifetime Last)

Disarray Contest

Giving my sincere thanks for this fine contest theme, that has so truly, deeply and greatly inpired me this bright and glorious new morn!

As ink into eager white paper soak

a voice from invisible realm commands

rest your old bones beneath this mighty oak

write as I, your brilliant muse demand

show this world, poet that has not forgot

that night stars are shining for a true cause

poetry oft heals soul's decaying rot

teach some to life's fast pace give needed pause.

Disarray Within huge caverns of my disarray fly interpreting birds with rainbow wings well sung arrow-shot words, vanquish the grey while they fly about, dawn's gleaming rays sing! This radiant scene, stirs a weeping heart as morn's bright colorful songbirds appear red roses preen, as throat'ed music starts I rise with glee, as joy replaces fear! Sun then speaks with oak trees swaying in tune as blue sky above more radiance casts wind tags along, its soft breeze a nice boon to harmony, as treasure ships flow past! As red sun, its resplendent array gifts tinge of sorrows, as beauty ends too fast yet such fine manna, spirit so uplifts that such brilliant gems may a lifetime last! 11/17/2019 Sponsor - Nina Parmenter Disarray Contest

Oh, this is my very fave. It touched something in me. It doesn't happen often. I think, I need a time to figure out what exactly.
