Disappointment

I'm at lost with words
remembering all the pain
lost again the world
not knowing who your true friends are
It's a fight to get through it
to look past
and start again
I see those moments flash before me
and it's the worst hurt to feel
feeling alone in a crowded room
surrounded by laughter
and no one to turn to
Having your father there for the first time
on a night like this

It's a terrible way to feel "alone in a crowded room." Very sad but nicely penned, Corinne. Love, carolyn
