Disappointment

Disappointment

Making plans for the weekend
Longing for your touch.

Dreaming of us meeting
Wanting it oh so much

Things we said between us
Whispering in my ear

Wondering if you’re serious
That mounting uncertain fear

Growing disappointment
every time we make a plan

It’s here right now today
That I make my final stand

I am done my friend I know
So don’t even try

It’s time right here right now
For our final goodbye
