Disappoinment
They did it with us because the addage proved before
Only those seven times better gets permit through the door
In all that wasted genius
Was there no single moment of compassion for us? We
For all the vaulted chorus
Did not see in your White House a change in our destiny
And I, seeing the nervous
World at us being envious
Could not tell you how I erased your name so with vigor
But the letters bold would not go for failure was our rigor.
We say the bell swinging, and swung silence hanged still
We see the sun going, and coming night gorging the hill.
