Disabled In the Heart
My body’s disabled in the heart:
Big dreams worked up in my mind –
One day I would be a great man:
And the society knew so too.
Years down, the big dream has faded;
My poor heart now numbs in coldness:
No one is near to comfort it –
I`m broken to a thousand shreds.
Every single day light emanated
From the deeps of my soul to light up
The faces of those close to me.
When the sun died in the rage of failure
Darkness set in everywhere,
Now people laugh at me in darkness.
I walk round in drunken stupor,
My heart beats without energy and spark,
My mind is clogged and the soul bleeds-
I grope in the shadows of the dead;
Oh, shall I ever heal again!
My body’s disabled in the heart.
