Disability

The melting started when I was 15.
It was like carrying blood splatter in my head.
Having a disability is like tossing toilet paper between your ribs.
When it’s not Halloween.
When I found out, I pulled at my hair like it was goop.
And maybe it could be.
I started being 15.
Butterflies dipped into blood and fluttered.
Everything’s goop.
Having a disability is a coin toss.
You either have one or you’re ice cream.
And I melt better than any swirl.
