Dirty Cannibals

Look at em'
Dirty little cannibals
Gnawing at the brain
Pinching nerves off, only to digest humanity
Such a bitter taste it leaves
Almost as bitter as the cannibals themselves
Long jagged fingernails
Excellent for finger pointing
And eye gouging
Their breathing is loud anxious and ragged
Almost like they know the moment of blame is ending
And yet everyday we watch them munch with delight
The hearts and souls of the bodies that walk this Earth
Dining everynight with silver-lined silverware
Extravagant table clothes spun of the finest silk drama
Tea cups that are still grainy at the bottom
Only with the truth
Dirty Little Cannibals
Devouring our homes
Snacking on our potential
Leaving us with empty stomachs
And burnt souls
Cooked too well to perfection
Dirtly Little Cannibals
Always biting the meat of our society
Leaving us with no substance
