Dirty

I walked through mud While above it was sunny and bright Disgusted by my soiled shoes I looked up to avoid the sight Ignoring the situation I stepped in multiple puddles Less aware of my issues But more covered in my troubles Maybe ignoring feelings When negativity hits Isn't the best strategy For dealing with my I can talk myself out of a mood But sometimes I just want to complain Feel sorry for myself And dwell in my own pain I can't work out my problems By denying that they exist And I do find motivation Sometimes when I get pissed So while I'm shuffling through the mess I won't let the sun divert me Positive vibes are great But right now I'm feeling dirty
