Dinner Conversation

Me; "I think "Tampon" would make a really great dog name despite the cultural connotation, I mean, it really rolls off the tongue. I just can't figure out whether it would be better for a boy or a girl." Wife: silence. Me: "Okay, how about who are we going to vote for this year?" Wife: silence. Me: "I think there are six of us in this family who can vote, the two cats don't count, they're anarchists, but the four dogs and us, well, I don't know about you, but the dogs and I will vote for Vermin Supreme for sure. The dogs because of "Vermin," and me because of "Supreme," because, you know, I'm white!" Wife: glaring silence. The best part about our marriage is the conversations we have...
