Dimwitted Attempts
dimwitted attempts
at subtle persuasion
failed attempts at
re-gaining what has
been lost with no success
what so ever
given up hope
given up dreams
given up desires
left with bitter taste
left with bitterness
left with down heartedness
as a result of time well wasted
as a result of time unproductively spent
now left with memories wished to be
wiped from memory
