Dimmed Light

Blinded by my ways. I'm waiting for
the next move, I try to calculate
every out come. I'm so lost, I've left
the path a long time ago I never left
enough bread crumbs along the
way to remember where I took that
wrong turn. This old road I travel
has no lights or street signs, who
knows where I'm heading but I
know I'll see you there I'm here and
gone in a blink of an eye. Its always
easier to exit out the back door slip
into the night, can't blame me for
keeping my distance it's the only
way I know how to get by. I'm truly
sorry I strive to be a shining star but
I'm truly just a flash of light to pay
no mind to
