Digging Up Worms

Low cut grass was of benefit in the lives of the most
adorable small. birds in my area.
Focused in their pursuit of food went their eyes into
         the ground
Before a minute passed on the click a worm was
          hanging from it's beak.
It's hard work was rewarded with a meal.
