Different Sunset

In dreams, I see a different sunset And in the dusk, I see you softly smile Before I feel the touch of moistened lip Reminding me should I dare to forget Love is real as long as I dream awhile And let my pious inhibitions slip. In dreams I am with you every day Each night I fall asleep inside your arms And yet each morning I find you are gone If only dreams would permit you to stay And feed my love with your impassioned charms So we two once again could be as one. Not just for the night, as I lie asleep But through the day so I no longer weep
