Died, the Music Within
Strumming fingers
Tangle, crumble, wallow
To broken strides of overtures
Amid a drowning heart
Where begins a resonation
A bitter coming taste to sorrow
Reverberations escaping
Straying off and depart
Into echoes of destined hushes
Reaching out for want
Of faring morrows
And melancholy enters in, to play its part
One by one
Tear drops fall, pick and “plunk”
A melody that saturates lyrics out
“We’ve become undone”
Rupturing a soul within this now
Of unscheduled portrait hells
Where the notes themselves jump to plunge
Into realization composes songs of "killing selves"
