Die Poem Die

It was a horrible start

To this glorious day

I went to write a poem

But it didn't go my way

It started out as grumpy

Then anger did ensue

I wanted to rewrite it

But there was nothing I could do

As it moved a crossed the page

In a tiny spelling spree

It stopped and grabbed my pen

Then it turned it back on me

I cannot say what had happened

But I think I must have flipped

Cause the ink, took a smudgin'

And the paper suffered rips
