Didn'T You Ever - Wonder Why

Didn’t You Ever – Wonder Why

Didn’t you ever wonder why
That you never heard me cry

Maybe I was just a geezer
And in my dream’s, I could still see ya

So there was no need for me to wonder
Where are you my mother

Or is that just not true
And you knew I cried for you

Because you was out of touch and reach
Once you walked out down the street

Never to come back and say
Son I miss you everyday

Tough as nails me to the day I die
But anyone can win that prize
Of the one that never cried

No more tears no drama
Well not from me my dear mother
After all where is my father
