Didn'T Do Anything For Me

I got my answer today
'cause I waited so long
I guess I had written off
I don't feel a thing
Not excitement
Kind of nonchalant, whatever
It didn't do a thing for me
Why did You wait so long, God?
I don't even know that's what I want any more
I guess you can have it God
'cause I am not too sure that I want it
Can I tell You "go and shove it"
'cause my life is going a different direction now
can't wait for You forever
But I am afraid You are going to make me do it
God why do You always get your way?
Why do You do things when and how You feel like it?
Why do You always have to have Your say?
Why do You make people wait?
Do You take pleasure in doing that?
I think I am going overboard in asking that
But God - someone has to say it
Well I think You are late!

BEEN THERE - SAID THAT - MOVED ON. The answer to all questions regarding God and his plans is/was/and always will be...."It's a mystery.".

Yes! I should know that. I wrote a poem about that "One big mystery"
