Did You Tried
Who taugh you to hate yourself
Who hurt you so bad that your soul cried
Tell me who caused all this anger that
you have bottled up and is starting to show on
your skin and on your face that you have refused
to smile for anyone else because you have no trust in humans now
Did they steal all your enjoy
Did they ask you to love and trust them and then
they left without telling you. Who taugh you to hate
yourself so much that you placed yourself second.
You tried to please them didn't you; complain less
pretend that everything was golden.
You tried to be everything they wanted didn't
