Did We Forget

Did we forget- Bombs- hurricanes - floods Boy- what a scare- People crying- loved ones dying Still, it is hard to get anyone to care. What’s going on in the world today? Did everyone forget how to pray? Did everyone forget who it is- we’re supposed to please? If we took- just a few minutes out of our busy day If we set aside- just a few moments just to say- Thank you- forgive me- Bless this world! Then- the bombs would stop their song- The hate would cease to exist- The enemies would become friends- The pain and heartache would end, and smiles would paint the world brightly, reds, whites, and blues. The anthem would be heard all over the world in unison- So, let us not forget- to take a moment out of our busy day- just to say- thank you- just to pray-
