Did I Mention
As I’m getting older, I’ve been told today
That
I keep repeating the things that I say
But I’m not doolally and there is no way
That
I keep repeating the things that I say
My wife plugs her ears up because of the way
That
I keep repeating the things that I say
I checked out the weather it’s cloudy with rain
But
My best mate said you can say that again
I told him I know folk think I’m old and grey
And
I keep repeating the things that I say
My wife said please love me for life and a day
And
I said I would, like I love her today
When I said I love you she told me she’d pray
That
I keep repeating the things that I say
My mate said take her somewhere nice on the train
But
I said the weather is cloudy with rain
And that was the moment I learned with dismay
That
I keep repeating the things that I say
