Did He Lose You

Did he lose you?
Did he lose you for good?
Did he lose 'that' which we said we never would?
'That' which was built so effortlessly
'That' which was so unencumbered
Unencumbered for such a long time.
'That' which is now tried tirelessly each day
Tried strenuosly; constantly.

Did he lose you?
Should he try no more?
Should he step back and stay aloof?
Step back and let silence speak?
Let silence's voice clamor?

Did he lose you?
He feels he did
Lose you.

Well, did he lose her? I know he feels so... I can only guess he did. I wondered... Thanks for sharing... Have a nice evening

He did not lose her, because it is not a poem about a partner :). Thank you for reading.
