Dictionary

  The dictionary is bedeviling me,
  Open at a whim,
To glance all the wonderful words within.
  Caught in its spell,
  The words jumble,
  And tell,
  All about the world without.
  The pieces all have meaning,
And though it may be lost,
  Each word in the dictionary,
  Has a cost.
Too often the words will tell,
  And cast a spell.
  Of stories or poems,
  I can tell!
