Diaspora

In crowded places Alone and solitary; In clustered spaces A touch of melancholy. Sad diaspora mulls Coming and going so lonely; Here empty feels dull A certain listless company. Far away right here In a geography of plenty; Lack traps me my dear Pokes deep pain that hurts anxiety. If only now I Can re-jig my sad sad story; Catch a glimpse of highs Sans diaspora across the sea. If I can touch you Old friends and family again; Return void past due Feel old melody's sweet refrains. Leon Enriquez 01 September 2017 Singapore
