Author's Notes:  This Unrhymed Tercet called "Diamonds Forever My Love in This World" is a departure somewhat from the more direct personal love themes that Liam McDaid and I have partnered on from time-to-time with our various co-authored writings within the Soup Community. This write for us morphed into a larger mosaic touching on the wonder, the joy, and the virtues of the need for love as a recognition of its importance to the human endeavor.  We indeed need to sense and find this very magic deep in our souls to find those warm gentle bonds inside our hearts which do indeed make each and every one of us ONE.  (Gary Bateman, December 30, 2014) (Unrhymed Tercet)

Diamonds forever sparkle deeply as a treasured jewel Dawning and revealing pure in a fresh breath of light Shining on warm gentle bonds inside one’s very heart Tears just beating drums with sounds splashing gently Young and beautiful as with a coldness of clouds above Golden shattering silver reflections in a most azure sky Falling rain inside believing in a dream of pure redemption Sadness looms heavy in a kingdom of one-eyed dwarfs Who live daily without hope, love, and surcease of sorrow Water falls down over a fountain of divine beauty in a land Of magical fairies imbued with supernatural powers of good Bringing healing to those afflicted and ignored by humans Everlasting happiness inside beauty cries joy and happiness For joy will skip in every single beat of a person’s heart and Happiness abounds with naked electric and alchemic powers And not to have love is completely devastating to one’s soul For without it men and women are robbed of happiness and Miss the rapture and joy coming from shared emotions pure Beauty and ugliness, hope and despair, joy and sadness Pervade the human endeavor in pairs of obvious dichotomy Reflecting warm and cold winds of continuous contradiction Dreams My Love are a way to play on the better nature of Our human psyche as we all seek to find calmer waterfalls With magical properties and reflections to make us all one Diamonds Forever My Love brings smiles and fulfillment in this World and in our personal world too with each of us struggling For meaning, love, hope, desire, and happiness here on Earth A new tomorrow rises from the ashes of the Phoenix as it again Takes its flight high in the sky making our imaginations soar in Finding those warm gentle bonds inside our hearts making us one Gary Bateman and Liam McDaid – A Collaborated Poem, Copyright © All Rights Reserved (December 30, 2014) (Unrhymed Tercet)

My Dear "D" -- Thanks always for your wonderful comments and insights to our co-writes. I believe the James Bond movie you're referring to is "Diamonds Are Forever," with Sean Connery. This is one of my all-time favorites as well too!! Liam and I will continue our co-writing efforts into the New Year. (As you know, he does co-write with others as well.) Best Wishes "D" and Love and Light!! Gary

ML, Thanks as always for your visits and on target observations. Yes -- Love is that magical four-letter word that excites us and makes things interesting, and makes the world go round. It's always better to find calmer waterfalls if at all possible. Happy New Year!! Gary

Diamond, comes from the Greek word " Adamas" which means the "Indomitable one." Love has such a power as your brilliant poem, dear Liam and Gary, Gary and Liam, demonstrates with its incomparable beauty! A seven to each! Happy New Year!

Demetrios, Thanks!! (I know that Liam always appreciates greatly your comments too and he might chose to respond separately.) I really like your mention of "Adamas" above. It makes sense that it means the "Indomitable One." Thanks too Sir for the high rating. Best Wishes to you -- and Happy New Year!! Gary

Hello Charmaine, You are most certainly right in what you say about the "one-eyed dwarfs' world." Love is that most important ingredient indeed. Glad you liked this departure somewhat from the other co-writes that Liam and I have done. I wish you all the best -- and, Happy New Year!! Gary

Anne-Lise, Always enchanting to hear from you!! Thanks so much!! I'm sure that Liam will be commenting back soon to you as well. But, I will say at this point: Thank you from both of us!! Your comments say it all Anne-Lise. That four-letter word: "Love" is so necessary in our lives. Without it -- one will most certainly have a lonely existence!! Love makes living worthwhile!! Best Always and Happy New Year!! Gary
