Diamond Rain
Diamond rain sends me into drizzlosis,
celestial sound cannot be spoken of;
There’s no way to articulate the hits
or the vision as it falls from above;
Clarity that human eyes haven’t seen,
cuts never attempted by a jeweler;
The astronomical carat’s obscene,
fancy colors flash in cosmic treasure;
Aliens and their rhythm of the stars,
they put an end to the silence of Space;
Melodies of the sky land and fuel ours,
music that we dance to on Earth’s surface;
Rugged and raw as they are well refined,
I pray that these songs will never be mined.
