Diamond Or Diamante of Love

Bedazzling,
Bejeweling,
Moonlit
Diamond of love

Recovered and
Discovered in the
Midst of intensely
Passion,

Discerned as real
In the glow of the
Beginning hours of our relationship,
Shared as glowingly
As carbon-originated
Diamonds

Unclear when
The diamond turned into
A diamante, a rhinestone, a
Sequin,

But when it did, the diamond
Rapidly dissipated

Yes, they seem to take a back seat to the artificial ones. Again, why do we have to have copies? Why can't we be realistic? They are beautiful; well done.

Thank you M.L. I really liked this one, and could not figure out why I have received no comments on it at all. So I am grateful for one. Thank you!
