Dewdrops

A dewdrop for inspiration Loneliness in the air Hangs on my sweat, perspiration, With sunshine an expiration Gets caught in my eyelashes there Will anybody care? A dewdrop on a muggy morn Clinging to the wet grass Soon after the new day is born Knowing its end makes me forlorn But I know this also will pass Dewdrops remind of glass. Dewdrops like magic disappear Like whispers quickly gone Its suddenly wiped like a tear And now it is no longer here Evaporated with the dawn No more on my front lawn. Thank you, Caren. I gave it my best, but this was a difficult form to work with. I'm hopeful.

You've been busy writing and your thoughts cling like dew drops on a meadow. Nicely portrayed, Milt.

Quite a 'flood of thoughts' on dewdrops here, Milt. Really enjoyed your reflections. Thanks, Gershon

Thanks so much, gw. You are right...it was a "flood of thoughts," and I'm not sure all of them were comprehensible.
