Notes About The Poem

Dew

At EIGHT o'clock we ATE dinner
The soft BABEL heard once again
Then became a DIN when the babe
Awoke with BABBLE coming from the DEN

The CURRENT course was CURRANT cake
Which was the most luscious DESSERT
One DUDE DEWED upon Mountain DEW
Hard to DO in a dry DESERT

That DUDE was the DEVISOR of the plan
The DEVISER who set in motion
All who were PRESENT inheritance
A PRESENT from THEIR parent's notion

I could go on and on but I don't have TIME
Because I need to set out the THYME..

I do not have a match for THEIR but THERE
is one match for it..
