Devotion To the Lord
Lord, I entrust to You my devotion
Nourished by Your mercy and compassion*
Inspired by Your divine love in action
Reaching down to me for my salvation.
I devote to You, Lord, my faithfulness
Surely upheld by Your Word’s steadfastness
You redeemed me with Your graciousness
Sanctifying me toward righteousness.
To You, I devote my heart’s victory
Since You put me into Your ministry
To declare salvation’s Gospel story
And become a blessing for Your glory.
With devotion of blest empowerment
I thank You, my Lord, midst soul’s contentment
By faith, serving You in my commitment
Exalting You in every achievement.
*Lamentations 3:22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
