Devotion
As in a mockery of thorns in desolation & remorse
Shattered dreams set to fly nor tender ear or passerby
In silence arise the beckoning call of healing within
In silence the swell of head chosen vestibule
In devotion set to music in figment of imagination
Gone our the days of fear & haze
In marching pilgrims salute the freedom trail
On a bed of nails she had me lay
The more one sins the more to pay
In ardent pastures clear to claim
Attached caged fear in some hero game
Fought back the many tears left in sullen fears
In pains filled with attachment
A will for power nothing more
A sense of folly left out in the wind
We each search in tender times its inner blind
Inside we each long for inner stregnth
Each of us has been gifted in some way
Through a tainted vision will soon frolic & treasure
A heart filled with compassion would soon measure
In colors filled with vibrant shades of light
A will for power nothing more
Shades of grass tampered through a blade to mow
The mere desolation of the scorched filled sun
Although quite vanquished has tainted my inner vision.
Many have become lax when it comes to sin
They cleave to their humiliation from within
People today are alive yet really are dead
Their eyes having tombstones in their heads
A challenge to be free is a question in time?
