Devotion
Succumb me into your wounds
Like the waves crash on the shores
The first drop of rain that touched the earth
You touched my soul
Held your face felt like i have held it before
Stepped into your whirlwind of emotions
Found the missing piece I was never looking for
You brought along the thunderstorms
And i willingly drenched myself in all those wrongs
No sign of death
Is this what touch felt all along?
How do i describe what i feel without feeling all of you all along
Next to me those silent nights were our silent wrongs
Your tears were the most beautiful sea salt
And yet i would never want to be the reason for their fall
They told me its not love what you feel
But why does my heart act like it already knows
All the places you've been to before
I crave your smell when i pass by those roads
Where once you held my lifeless frame in your own
I hope you dont destroy what i lay on you so blindly
I hope my touch ignites in you what yours ignite in me
Every breath, every kiss, every smile, every move
I hope i can store it all in my books
To know you is to know fire
To know you is to know touch
To know you is to know whom i searched for
To know you is to know that version i lost
To know you is to know me.
