Devoted Mentor
Afflicted by cough of vexing itch
She struggled so hard to smite speech glitch
Relief came through therapeutic twitch
Exposing her teacher’s soothing pitch.
Her sweet voice never aims to bewitch
Since truth* she asserts midst deceit-stitch
Instructing young minds to seek light’s niche
With love in their hearts toward peace switch.
Mentoring well, bereft of colds’ snitch
She ushers learners to knowledge ditch
Prodding them against ignorance hitch
With God's values that indeed enrich.
*John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
