I'm no brand ambassador
I'm a lyrical crusader
I'm no face on a magazine
I preach He that forgives sin

Blessed be every platform
But the subtle lure to conform
Prompts me to always be awake
For the multitude of witnesses' sake

I'm commissioned and charged
And I'm therefore harshly judged
To be an example
That their talk can sample

Grace and loving admonition
Is also our mission
Of which our accusers remain oblivious
Thus their fear of faith is obvious

They fear the very dose they administer
To be recipients of mockery so sinister
To relinquish grace for their own flaws
And to be expected to be the epitome of all laws.

Why are you held back
By the fear of attack
Why don't you dare a bold stand
And for once test God's Hand?

Be still and know that He is God
Be comforted by His Staff and Rod
Be His sheep and know His voice
That clarity may once again rule your every choice
