Devine Mandness

I woke up one morning; the air had an orange glow, It made me feel quite strange, I didn’t know where to go. I went for my breakfast and tripped on the stairs, Falling towards the bottom, my memory is kind of scarce. I found myself on a beach, not knowing where I be, Nor how did I get there or what I was to see. I looked at the sand, not yellow as you would expect, But green in colour with a tint of red! What a strange effect. I looked upon the sea, looked twice just to be sure, The sea was yellow and the wash was orange as it came to shore. At last I thought; a hint of normality as I looked upon the sun, Normal in sight, yellow and bright but wait, I wanted to run. The sun was large, too close to me so I turned the other way, Only to find another behind; now I really began to sway. Then a voice in my ear sounded loud and clear, “Please don’t be afraid” “You can not see me but here I am and for you I’ve always preyed” “This is my home, light years from yours; now to you must be showed” “You’ll come to no harm so please be calm; your fears you must unload” “Then you will see the glories to behold upon this planet of mine” “To tell to your kin so take it all in, these wonders you’re here to find” With that I was told to sit so I could see both suns and the watch the sky, I chose a spot thinking ‘Hey, why not’ and sat releasing a sigh. The suns did rise through the sky on a course that meant they’d collide. “This is our sunset, so please do not fret, we’ll all still be alive” Collide they did but without a sound and for a second there was no light, Then came the waves; all colours like a maze, boy what a glorious sight. The sky came alive; dancing waves of light flooded the air above, All colours you can think of; like a shockwave from God showering me with love. After the waves came pellets of flame emanating from where the suns did meet, Like a firework display; so bright was its play that at one point I had to look at my feet. Then the sky went dim with two orbs left in as the moons did take their place, Dulled light of white, left by the plight of two suns now hiding in space. “It’s now time to go, one seed to sow; already it has been planted”, “You’ll soon be home; you’ll feel a bit thrown; it’s time we are to be parted”, I then felt tired, my eyes drew closed and everything went to blackness, On the foot of my stairs I woke with despair, was I just full of madness?
