Devil In Disguise

Mysterious yet so frightening
in pain and fear spiraling.
She captivates him and seduces
Eating away at his soul
Until he’s all hers and he has nothing left
But a hypnotic hallucination
Wearing the crown of damnation
Waiting for the moment to be freed
From her poisonous poppy seed
Which killed his spirit, his joie de vivre.
I hear her hysterical laugh
Whilst she’s proudly signing her autograph
On his poor soul dying slowly
another win to her supreme glory
Her name is heroin
the devil in disguise.

Thanks Arturo. I really wish this poem brings awareness to those who are still in the experimental phase so they never touch it again
