Devarlo

(In Memory of Devarlo "Dickie" Crawford)

Not enough can EVER be said
About our boy, DeVarlo
Although, "to keep Us laughing",
Seemed to be his motto
Judging from the way One joke
After another did follow
How his absence has left Our
Hearts hollow
For his Death was like a bitter
Pill to swallow
With Us, not wanting to let go of
Yesterday, being there was No
Tomorrow
A sunken REALITY which caused
Even greater Sorrow
In terms of Us wishing to have back
Some of his humor, to borrow

Good Elegy Karin. Someone dying is always a bitter pill to swallow, but it's something that is inevitable.
