Deterred Wisdom

I know competition is only war It is all we are trained to do There in parade an army of czar Republican troops forward too And bright still shines the regiments Of kings, or a modern queen Islands too with prouder contingents Marched upon the Olympic scene I cheer because there is no blood shed No trumpet crying over the drum Grumbling for the burial of the dead. It is bloodless better, this deterred wisdom
