Determined Distaste
Trim whims and streams of screams in the dream
Blown in the undesirable direction
That irks initiatives to draw the cream that floats on the rim
Where your life suffers from offers of misdirection
Meant to frustrate rates at which sanity cleans cobwebs
From thoughts, plans and actions at the core
Illuminated by lasers whose insight webs
Turn up on time to mine the ore that comes to the fore
When fed up with business as usual attitudes
You rise from ashes like the phoenix
Hurling and hurting hurdles and obstacles to scale higher altitudes
Despite wishes and fishes in dishes that yield nix
In the grand scheme in which significant factors
Bless your endeavours and factor favors
In activities that draw emerald envy from detractors and malefactors
Whose hostile hope stirs fecund flavours
Which diffuse in an ambience tempered with hope
Despite the horoscope predicting a lukewarm outcome
At night when darkness ditties in your environment drop
To a miniscule level as critical strategies roam
Close to home
Knocking at your door, kneading a divine dough
To bake the benediction bread loaf in Rome
To sweep away both the scent and ferment zero
Splashes within its ashes like the last kick of the dying horse
Which tries harder to bludgeon blessings grace
Lands in every stand you take, opting for the right course
Of action to delete laces the stress of the trace
A nightmare kneaded on your table
In the stable where a fragile fable in its terminal state
Surrendered into a blender and fender to render you more able
Not only to withstand odious onslaughts but also to decimate them with determined distaste.
