Detached

And the gorgeous flower feels so very
Detached
Thus missing from its own environment
Leaning
Towards the edge of the known universe
Lost
Within its own self, greatly expressing
Life
Coming out of its many pores it has
Detached
Flower leaves the confines of the garden
Leaving
Any answers back at its old home place…

Dear Russell, there are many of us who feel like we are "missing from (our) own environment" and the introspection becomes overpowering. At the end of life when we enter the spiritual realm, I hope we will feel part of a greater plan and reconnect with lost loved ones. Very inspiring poem, my friend! Love, Carolyn
