Destruction Is Temporary

An ancient church smolders.
Half the world is weeping.
Just remember you can melt stained glass.
Topple steel, mahogany, and cement.
God will be the only permanence.

The spirit is stronger than flame.
Every heart is a church.
Step inside a church.
Pray for the billions of heart churches...
Brick and mortar can burn
Bibles can burn
But you can't burn the word.

Feel the beating of heart hymns.
The patient spirit of God.
The resilience of his son.
The love of everyone.
Don't sweat or fret over hate and destruction.
A church, a heart, a haven can be reclaimed.
Patience, resilience, and love will own the coming day.
Resurrection is the only permanence.
