Destiny's Flicker
Destiny, a flicker in your eye,
Dances, dodges, passes by,
A shadow fleeting, sly, withdrawn,
A whispered secret ere the dawn.
Yet as you breathe and gently pause,
It reappears in vibrant hues,
A mesmerizing, swirling show,
Vanishing like melting snow.
A play of light, persistent, clear,
Silent, humming in your ear,
In daily whirls and restless haste,
Destiny dims, a memory erased,
Yet in the quiet, calm reprieve,
It pirouettes, forever free.
With shut eyes, a breath apart,
Destiny glimmers, ignites the heart,
A radiant, dazzling display,
Never lost, just led astray.
Attend, and let it not grow faint,
Embrace the dance, no restraint,
For destiny lingers, waits to be,
Unlocked by hearts that set it free.
