This is beautiful and nicely crafted. Thanks for the share... Sometimes its refreshing visiting old poems of soupers... Its amazing, the freshness which comes from doing this... And that is exactly my enjoyment visiting this piece

or do they create a future with their words, if the person believes the story and expects it to happen.... we create our own future ...perhaps...exspectation ... "you will meet a dark stranger ...not that ugly bugger hey" keep looking :} love your Aztec haiku....this one asks questions well too...

I really like this. A lot of it is so fake. I like to think some of them are the "real thing" What do you think?

In my personal experience, a few "seers" have actually been pretty good at it with some uncanny accuracy. Most however, were very inaccurate (apart from the most obvious things). As human beings we hope for ways to control our lives, to make it better - but most of what's out there is bogus and really just a waste of time and money!

Misinforming the future, that is for sure. When I was about 12 a friend of my sister who claimed such skills, very wrongly predicted my future and it had a dark effect on me for a few years.

Hi Jim, there are so many charlatans out there playing on people's insecurities, gullibility, need to know, etc. I too have first hand info on this as I have also been a victim in the past!
