Destiny

“No one could ever paint a too wonderful picture of my heart or God.”
   ~ Attributed to Hafiz

The fruit has a jungle
Of apes who may taste it
The ring has ten fingers
Who may try it on
The keg has a barful
Of bards who may tap it
Their tongues warmed to poems
Until it’s all gone
Her legs have a street
Of admiring strangers
Her mind has dream visions
Of hawk grouse or dove
She has sprightly billions
Of fellow space travelers
Who may cross paths with her
And share with her love
   ~ Thanks Always Returns
