Destiny

I hear you laugh and you’re not even here I feel your fingers going through my hair. I hear your voice and you start to say “Don’t get discouraged I’ll be back one day.” I need you badly, I need you right now You say you’re coming but when and how? I feel so naked without your arms around me Without your touch, your kiss, I’m lonely. Without your gentle voice calming me down My emotions are violent and making me drown. The words of silence ring true to my ear And right at this moment I wish you ever so near. Your face, at night, haunts me like a ghost And at that moment I miss you the most. I close my eyes as your laughter resounds in my head As I twist and turn in my ever so lonely bed. I rise in the morning to your handsome face And in this life, I finally found my place.
