Destiny
A girl named Destiny, with eyes like the dawn,
In a world painted gray, where darkness is drawn.
Her beauty a beacon, her heart pure and bright,
Yet echoes in the shadows would haunt her each night.
In the stillness of night, she would hold her dear mother,
Counting each breath, with prayers for another.
With arms wrapped around her, a guardian's grace,
She fought through the darkness, she's the light in a dark space.
She cried in the silence, her heart full of dread,
For this soul that she loves, for the tears that they've shed.
"Life is more than shadows mom," she whispered soft and low,
"Together we can rise, together we can grow."
Destiny is destined to be the first,
In a world of shadows, where many hearts are cursed.
While others lost their battles, caught in addiction's snare,
She stands tall and steady, shes a breath of fresh air.
With wisdom like a river, and courage like the sun,
She shows the beauty of the life she has won.
Destiny blossoms each year, like the flowers in spring,
With kindness and courage, shes learned how to sing.
Shes loved through the heartache, she's loved through the pain,
In a world full of shadows, Destiny can now dance in the rain.
