Destination

How dark is this night? How long is this way? Is there a destination? Am I am on my way? I am walking slow and unsteady My shoulders feel heavy, really heavy As I am carrying a mountain of miss fortune with me. I haven’t asked for it, it wasn’t mine I have given this gift with open eyes. The night is quite and cold outside I’m scared of unknown, but not afraid of dark I hear my breaths and it whispers in my ears Courage is running out, chased by the fear. I know there is tomorrow I know there is another day. Where I’m standing It doesn’t lead that way. Is there a destination? Do you know the way? That shelter lonely soul, Who lost its way?
